Stayed 8 nights at the Royal Garden. Obtained a terrific rate through the internet. Couldn't have been more pleased. They are slowly renovating and we got one of the newly done rooms. Non smoking, the only way to go. New, very quiet and efficient air conditioners, 14th floor, away from all the street noise, small refrigerator in every room, washer and dryer on almost every floor. Fitness room just re-opened. The overworked staff tried very hard to please, even when faced with large groups. We'll return. So, if your a fussbudget, go over to the Halekulani ($400 per night). I'll take the Royal Garden, thank you.
