We celebrated our 52nd wed anniversary in Oahu and stayed at this elegant hotel for one week. The location is away from the Waikiki city, TRAFFIC, PEOPLE, and beach action so is a very calming graceful environment to come back to relax and rest. Our 10th floor corner room had a whole wall of windows overlooking the Ala Wai Canal and the city night lights were beautiful. The big balcony was great for reading and enjoying the beautiful balmy Hawaiin trade winds. We were also provided a kitchenette with micro, sink and fridge for in-our-room snacking. The tours picked us up at the hotel's front door. We walked a block to catch the trolley and buses for shopping and the beach. Although we enjoyed the hotel's beautiful tasty buffet breakfast each morning at an additional but reasonable charge we would like to have had more dining/bar within the premises. They only provided breakfast. The garden pool was incredible and sunny, with friendly people. Our king bed was very comfortable and our room was well maintained each day. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly going out of their way to make us comfortable. We had a wondereful stay - Thank you Royal Garden.
