Being an extreme budget traveler (as in, willing to stay anywhere close to city-centers for the cheapest rate), this place was AMAZING! The room views were spectacular, the walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, the staff extremely helpful; this is where I first understood the term "aloha." Like I said, it was about a 10 minute walk (through a creepy - late night - park - to all major Waikiki attractions, such as bars, clubs, etc. Buses were extremely accessible and there was an ABC store on the corner, two blocks down. I was always, ALWAYS extremely comfortable with leaving my stuff here, though there is an in-room safe. I even asked the housekeeping to give me additional coffee, and they did so, with just a note on the counter! I got the best of the best advice here and was even shown alternative rooms when questioning about staying for longer than a month. It was one of the best budget options I have ever experienced! Wireless, however, can be a bit frustrating: you need to pay 10$/day for a router....and sometimes they don't work. BUT, there is wireless in the lobby for free, if just inquiring into email, etc. I would recommend this place to even the most judging people I associate with! If I can not emphasize it enough: AMAZING!
